Dear Students,
Welcome to our English course! My name is Jaime Rafael Mayor Rosero, and I am very happy to be your teacher this semester. I am a Lawyer and Commercial Engineer, and I have also dedicated my life to teaching English since 1985. Over the years, I have guided many students in their learning journey, and I am excited to walk with you on yours.
Our main academic goal in this course is clear: to prepare you to successfully pass the B1 final evaluation at the end of the semester. Achieving this level is important because it demonstrates that you can understand and use English in real situations, not just in the classroom.
But beyond the exam, I want to emphasize something even more valuable: developing the ability to communicate in English effectively and with confidence. Speaking another language opens doors to opportunities in your studies, your future careers, and your personal growth. My mission as your teacher is not only to help you succeed in the test but also to give you the tools to express yourself clearly, naturally, and with motivation.
